Joana and I enjoy hosting students because as young kids once, we loved travelling, finding out new things and cultures. As young teenagers things can be quite overwhelming as you’re turning into an adult so making sure whenever we have any students over we make them feel as comfortable as possible. Anything to make them feel closer to home which in turn makes their experience even more worthwhile.

When I started Concorde online course the most I felt was that the teachers were so friendly and they made me more comfortable in the classes. I tried two different classes at the beginning and it was great  that I have got a class at the most appropriate level. I can see the teachers sharing students’ information so I am so relaxed on the course.

I learnt a great deal concerning academic disciplines, structuring essays and giving different types of presentations. All these skills are very important for my Master’s study at university!

I found Concorde International surfing on the internet, while I was looking for a General English adult summer course in 2016, and the formula that CI offers met my needs perfectly.

Then a pandemic year affected the whole world, but luckily, Concorde International organised the online courses which – again – perfectly suited my requirements.

I love the way CI organises the class and the competence and preparation of the tutors. Dealing with international students, having a native speaking English moderator, that suggests interesting and current topics, is a great experience and a unique opportunity of personal growth connecting yourself to the whole world. I continue to renew my enrolment because I love to spend my time with amazing people, improving my knowledge of English and I definitely must thank Concorde International for this chance. 

In 2018 I chose Concorde International to improve my English and was very happy. During the lockdown I wanted to keep practising my English, improve the vocabulary and have do something fun. The General English course was ideal in my case. Jane, the teacher is always very helpful. As soon as it is possible I will go back to Canterbury to attend an English course with Concorde. Excellent school.
