Concorde International staff are eager to share all the fun and adventures of Canterbury and our wonderful region of Kent, commonly known as The Garden of England.
All the weekly events are displayed on the Student Notice Board in the Common Room. Typical afternoon and evening activities cost between £5-£15. Full-day excursions at weekends cost £20-£35 depending on destination and mode of transport.
There are excursions are offered at weekends to including London, Cambridge, Brighton, Oxford, Windsor and Bicester Village Retail Outlet.
There is a free “Walk and Talk” programme most Friday afternoons visiting the nearby villages, coast and countryside with local people, another chance to keep using English!
Kent has some wonderful historic castles and heritage houses; half-day excursions can be arranged to Dover Castle, Leeds Castle and Sissinghurst, and the beach is only 25 minutes away to the seaside towns of Whitstable, Broadstairs and Folkestone.
Students are encouraged to continue practising their English with optional evening activities: 10-pin bowling and barbecues, Quiz night, plus a cultural programme of events introducing British festivals and holidays across Kent.
