An exciting alternative to an English study course!

Kent – rated as the “most culturally advanced in Europe in AD” by the Romans!

This is a specialist programme that Concorde runs on request. Typically, the syllabus and social programme are designed around the needs and expectations of its clients.

  • For senior students aged 50+

  • 15 hours of themed English classes

  • One full day excursion and one half-day excursion each week

  • Local visits with English guide

Combine informal English lessons with an enjoyable tour of Kent, and discover castles, manor houses and gardens with your Tutor.

Accommodation is arranged with selected homestay families in nearby villages. Alternatively, you may select a city centre bed & breakfast or budget hotel, and enjoy Canterbury’s historic environment.

Local public transport is used to explore the lovely countryside around Canterbury with its charming villages, or walk along the famous White Cliffs of Dover, or explore the medieval town of Sandwich.

The County of Kent – known as the “Garden of England” – with its vineyards, cherry orchards, and hop farms for beer making, has so much to offer visitors, from ultra-modern art galleries to world famous heritage sites – architecture, history, horticulture, literature, music, pilgrimage, and tradition  -all to be found here!
