A reminder that the Extended Student Visitor Visa (ESVV) is now available for English Language study in the UK. The ESVV was introduced in January 2011 and is already proving popular. The length of the visa has been extended from 6 to 11 months, allowing potential language school students to stay much longer in the UK.
The extended SVV will cost the same as the normal visitor visa, a fee of just £70. Whilst studying English you will have plenty of time to explore the UK, but students cannot work or switch to other courses during their stay. However if you take an English Language Course at Concorde International, we feel confident that with such a busy and enjoyable timetable your time will be filled and you’ll feel you have made the right choice!
English UK also states that non-visa nationals coming for more than 6 months will also be required to apply for this extended SVV before travelling to the UK as the visa will not be available on arrival in the UK. Students from non-visa national countries enrolled on a course of less than 6 months can still obtain the visa on arrival. The new rules do not affect EU and EEA students.
