Concorde Christmas Carols 2012
The Christmas music hour at Arnett House was a roaring success with Concorde staff and students taking a break from lessons to enjoy carols in their own languages as well as in English.
Staff members Claire (on ukulele), Sue (on guitar) and our talented Courier Kyle Ruskin (also on guitar) provided instrumental support to Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer (in two languages), Jingle Bells, Silent Night and many more classics, with students taking it in turn to sing for the room in their native languages and everyone joining in with English versions.
More videos to come so check back soon, or check out our Concorde Social Club Facebook page for more information, pictures and advance notice of other great social and leisure activities taking place at the school!
“I like the general organisation and the excursions. I like the fact that at this school there are students from everywhere and that, with the help of the teachers and the activity leaders, they stay together without showing racism.”
