High Speed Train Connects English Language Students to Canterbury

18/11/2011

The historic city of Canterbury now has much improved transport links thanks to the high-speed train HS1, which has been running since 2009.

This means visitors from London can be in Canterbury in under an hour. It makes the city a great place for sightseeing, shopping and studying.

The HS1 train leaves from St Pancras Station in London and goes to Canterbury and then onto Margate, the famous seaside town in Kent.

If you live in London and want to brush up on your English skills then Canterbury is the place to learn whilst enjoying your surroundings.

Canterbury is a university town, with three universities and a higher education college. This means it is always full of students and young people, making it a great place to come and learn English.

There are several language schools in the city, one of the oldest and most established is Concorde International.

We offer a range of English language courses, for beginners through to more advanced speakers who want to perfect English skills in certain areas, like business.

Canterbury is also easily accessed from the rest of Europe, as it is only a few miles from Dover and the cross-channel ferry from France.

So if you are looking for a place to learn English that is historic yet vibrant and great for shopping, then Canterbury is the place to choose.

Concorde International can help you perfect your English Language skills and show you the best of what the city has to offer.
