For all the foodies out there, especially those with a special interest in Kentish food, get yourself down to the Broadstair’s Food Festival this 3rd-5th October! The event promises to be a true display of Kentish food, demonstrating the wide variety of Kentish produce and celebrating their award winning qualities. All of which you can sample at the festival.
Broadstairs has plenty of amazing restaurants, cafes and bars, something to suit everyone. There are also lots for you to do in Broadstairs if you require a break from all the food. These include Crampton Tower Museum, the Dickens Museum and Bleak House. Bleak House is where Charles Dickens lived, where he wrote David Copperfield and planned the story of Bleak House. Well worth a visit.
Travelling to Broadstairs could not be easier. Not only can you drive, but you can get trains direct to London from Broadstair’s train station. Buses can also be used with frequent buses found as part of the ‘Loop’ bus route, connecting Broadstairs with the majority of East Kent.
