The Accommodation
Residential

There are 50 beds in the main school in rooms with 2/3/4 beds. There are additional beds at the local university, which is just a short distance from the school. This accommodation is in single study bedrooms with shared facilities. The students staying in this accommodation will simply sleep there and take all lessons, meals, activities and excursions at The Royal School. Our staff will provide supervision in the accommodation as well as escorting the students to and from the school each day by coach.

Homestay

We have a very good number of families who look after our students each summer. These are located in the surrounding areas and students will need to travel to and from school each day, either by bus or the underground service. A weekly travel pass is included in the fees. Families provide breakfast and dinner and a hot lunch is included on school days.

Places of interest in the area: Extra visits to Central London

Choosing The Royal School gives you the chance to visit the sights of London more often. As well as the usual full day excursion, you will enjoy three afternoon visits to one of London's famous sites every week.

Weekly London visits include:

  • The Natural History Museum or the Science Museum
  • The British Museum
  • Walking tours of:
