Canterbury
England 's most famous Cathedral city, Canterbury is home to two universities with 20,000 students. There are many busy cafes and a modern shopping centre; you will really enjoy this city whether you're here for 2 weeks or 2 months!
2 major European capitals are within easy reach (London - St.Pancras 55 minutes; London - Victoria 90 minutes; Paris Gare du Nord 2.5 hrs).
Canterbury welcomes almost 3 million visitors each year and there's always something to see and do.
The School
Canterbury Study Centre is located in the heart of the city centre in the oldest brick building in Canterbury, dating back to 1625, just two minutes walk from our Head Office. There is also another classroom building opposite Head Office, all within the city centre of Canterbury, and all within a one minute walk of the main shopping area and beautiful Dane John Park.
The Accommodation
Homestay
Students live in friendly homestay accommodation and enjoy a taste of British family life. Meal times and weekend activities provide an ideal opportunity to practise your English.
Most accommodation is within walking distance of the school but a short bus ride may be required. Weekly bus passes may be required and are between £12 - 20 per week. Self-catering apartments and houses are available.
