Broadstairs
Broadstairs enjoys an attractive combination of coastline and countryside and is a popular holiday and day-trip destination. Rolling hills, woodlands and pretty villages are within easy reach, as are miles of coast varying from sandy beaches to towering cliffs. Broadstairs has close associations with the author Charles Dickens, and has a lively cultural calendar including a famous folk music festival.
The school
Christ Church University is a modern campus with excellent teaching and IT facilities. The campus is a 15-minute walk from the town centre and the beach. Westwood Cross retail and leisure park is only a few minutes' walk away. Students' meals, classes and most activities will be held on the campus. There is a lecture theatre for film nights, and there are playing fields and a sports hall. The classrooms and hall are all large and well equipped.

The Accommodation
Residential
There are 80 single study en-suite bedrooms in 14 apartments on the university campus. There are 6 bedrooms in each apartment with a communal area for socialising. All rooms are large and offer an excellent standard of accommodation in a safe and secure building on the main campus
Homestay
We have some Homestay families in Broadstairs and others located in the areas of Margate, Ramsgate and Kingsgate, which adjoin Broadstairs and some students will need to take a bus to and from school each day. Weekly bus passes may be required and are between £12 - 20 per week. Families provide breakfast and dinner and a packed lunch. Hot lunch is available at a small extra charge.
