Ashford
Ashford is a traditional market town which has seen a large increase in population since the opening of the Channel Tunnel. It is ideal for students travelling from the continent by Eurostar.
It is conveniently located close to the coastal towns, with Folkestone only 10 minutes drive away. The famous city of Canterbury is also close by, and London can be reached in 30 minutes by train.

The school
Ashford School is a private school and is only 2 minutes' walk from the town centre. The classrooms and hall are large and well equipped. There is a wide range of sports and other activities, including football, tennis, volleyball, cricket, badminton, arts & crafts, drama & dance. The school has a large Astroturf pitch, four tennis courts, and an indoor swimming pool. Students mix with Canterbury Study Centre every two weeks for a disco.
The Accommodation
Homestay
We have a lot of good families in the Kennington, Willesborough and South Willesborough areas on the outskirts of the town centre and some students will need to take a bus into school each day. This normally takes about 10 minutes and students walk for 3 minutes from the bus station to the school.
The weekly bus pass is £12 - 20 per week. Families provide breakfast and dinner and a packed lunch each day.
