Colin Stone

· HISTORY

1972	Colin Stone established Concorde International to welcome students to Canterbury for English courses.
1973	The first students arrived in July to attend the summer programme at the University of Kent, Canterbury.
1975	The year round school was initiated at Concorde International Study Centre, Folkestone.
1978	The summer schools and study centre were first inspected and accredited.
1983	The Head office moved to the city centre premises and established a Business School for managers and professionals.
1985	Teacher Training Programmes were established and thereafter arrangement made for teachers to be employed overseas in Thailand, Kuwait and UAE.
2000	The school extended its campus within Canterbury city centre.
2002	Subsequently the school was appointed as an accredited Learndirect Centre.
2004	Microsoft IT Academy.
2005	Expansion of Junior Summer Centre to Cambridge.
2006	Expansion of Junior Summer Centre to Rochester.
