This area of London is one of the most popular with visitors to Britain and for students particularly with Camden Lock market nearby which attracts many people. Hampstead's residents include famous celebrities, film stars, artists and writers...look carefully and you might see someone you know in the shops!

The underground station is just two minutes walk from the School.

The School

The school is located in a pleasant area. Classrooms are large and bright. There is a school hall for drama and general meetings.

Sport facilities:

Within the school grounds, there is a playing area for basketball,volleyball and table-tennis. Nearby Hampstead Heath offers ample space for team games.

Residential
Students may choose to live either in the School or stay with an English host family nearby. Day students whose parents and relatives live in London will be able to enrol their children for the English classes and cultural programme.

Additional residential accommodation is available at King's College,London, located at a short distance from the Royal School. The accommodation at King's comprises twin rooms for students and single study bedrooms for teachers and leaders,all with wash basins.

Homestay
The students will be staying with families located in Hampstead and the near areas of Finchley and Camden. Some students will be able to walk to school each day and others will need to take a short bus or tube ride - travel card included. Breakfast and dinner with the family and hot lunch in school on class days.

Choosing the RoyalSchool gives you the chance to visit the sights of London more often. As well as the usual full day excursion, you will enjoy three afternoon visits to one of London's famous sites every week.
