St Edmund's School was founded over 100 years ago. It is a very impressive building, standing in its own large grounds on a hill overlooking the city, with a wonderful view of the cathedral. The school is very close to the University of Kent, and within walking distance of the city centre.

Classes take place in a separate classroom block. Meals are self-service, and are served in the oak-panelled dining-room. There are a number of comfortable common rooms with TV and video.

Sport facilities:

Residential
Boys and girls sleep in separate parts of the building, and each section has its own Bath shower facilities. Bedrooms accommodate a 2/3/4 children with larger rooms for younger ones or groups of friends. Each have their own private area
